Can you guess how many smiles can you fit in a large glass container?  This year our celebration included that contest with donations being made to the winner's charity of choice.

WSD 2005

2005 featured a different kind of contest for charity. A large glass container filled with smiley face candies was moved around the city prior to World Smile Day® to allow people to guess the number of candies in the container. On World Smile Day® students from the Mass College of Pharmacy arrived in uniform to officially count the candies. The winner got to choose a charity to which a donation was made from the Harvey Ball World Smile Foundation. As each year progressed more and more people, especially teachers, from around the globe discovered World Smile Day® and enthusiastically embraced the day.
