How does one follow-up creating the worlds largest smiley face?  By doing it again and adding a mass balloon release as well. 

WSD 2003

It was a variation on the human smiley face theme for the 2003 World Smile Day® when the city of Worcester held a balloon release from City Hall Plaza. Hundreds of people gathered once again to first compose messages of good will and good cheer and then place them into helium filled, environmentally friendly balloons. On cue the balloons were released to the prevailing winds carrying those messages far and wide.
